The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.
Former two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers met for the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really proceeding.
